Dell S2209W 22 Inch LCD Monitor

Dell's line of 22" wide screen LCD displays is second to none. With an emphasis on high speed response times and rich color's, Dell leads the way in the "anti-dead-pixel" brigade. Deal pixels can be a problem on lower quality monitors, and will appear as a tiny black pixel on the screen. One is fine, two is fine, but as production quality declines, dead pixel numbers go up.

Dell takes care to ensure that all of their monitors meet the strictest quality control guidelines to ensure the lowest amount of dead pixels on any LCD monitor, period.

This black beauty is Dell's fantastic 22 inch S2209W, a real whopper of a wide screen. At 22 inches, it's not the largest, but it makes up for it's average size by offering extraordinary performance. Unlike most 22 inch monitors, Dell's S2209W is capable of true 1920 x 1080 true High-Def resolution. A 16 x 9 aspect ratio means you can watch Blu-Ray movies on your computer and get the same experience you would on a 1080p TV.

The S2209W features a 5ms (that's millisecond) response time, which is what allows this great LCD to display such clear images, with no signs of stutter or ghosting. Fast response time is great for gaming, as it reduces choppyness and provides a liquid smooth gameplay experience. The S22o9W supports 16.7 million colors, and uses a mere 42 watts of energy at peak usage. This is one enviornmentally friendly monitor.
